Fall 2023 League
The fall 2023 trap/skeet league will start on Thursday, August 10 and will run each Thursday until October 26. This is a ten-week league season, but only your top six night's scores (3 trap/3 skeet) will count so even if you have to miss a few nights it won't matter! Cost is a $40 league registration fee and $3.00 per round of 25 targets. Each week participants will shoot two rounds, alternating between trap and skeet each week. On the final night, there will be prizes, food, and one lucky league shooter will win a new gun! Join us for lots of fun...
2023 Club Championship
Members of the Cape County Gun Club competed for the 2023 R.L. “Dick” Wood club championship awards June 10-11th.
Cort H. was champion of a very competitive skeet field with a 49/50 after breaking a tie with Mark P. Greg D. was trap champion with a 46/50 and overall champion (94/100). Congratulations to Class B winners Nick T. (skeet), Paul C. (trap) and Joe H. (overall) as well. Thanks to Mark P., Doug D., Ronnie H. and Paul C. for making this event happen again this year.

Summer 2023 League
The summer 2023 trap/skeet league concluded on July 6 with shooting, great food, and prizes! 20 individuals competed over five weeks. After drawing for partners, the team of Stuart R. and Nick T. edged out Don B and Cort H, 323 to 321. Jim B and Greg D took third while Randy K/Ethan W finished in fourth and David W/Logan F claimed the fifth spot. Good shooting and good fun!
Pork steaks, fried chicken and delicious sides were heartily enjoyed by all participants!
Thanks to Paul C, Don B, Ronnie H, Mike B and Randy K for putting together another great league! Kudos to Mark P and Doug D for all their help pulling and scoring. We are all looking forward to the next opportunity.

Summer/Fall 2022 League Results
The summer/fall 2022 league concluded in August. Prizes and pizza were distributed at the final night.

The spring/summer, 2022 league concluded on June 30th with the final night of shooting, good food and prizes. After all rounds were completed, the long-awaited partner draw took place. Thank you to all who participated!

2022 Club Championship
The CGCGC Dick Wood Memorial Club Championship was held the weekend of April 30/May 1. Congratulations to the Overall Club Champion Mark P., Skeet Champion (also Mark P.) and Trap Champion (Greg D.). A hearty "thank you" and congratulations is also due to all 11 participants in this inaugural championship.
